Food For Fines - 10 Years Strong in 2016!

The Food for Fines program gives the option of donating cash or food of equal value to a parking ticket. Parking meter ticket fines received between December 3 and 10 were eligible. Donations were accepted until December 13, 2016.

In 2016 we raised $2,040 in food donations and $3,505 in cash donations. The total amount raised was $5,545.

All donations went directly to the Whitehorse Food Bank and Kaushee’s Place, providing food and shelter to those in need.

Thanks to all who participated!
